Why Is He Famous?
Our great grandparents had the Brothers Grimm, our parents had Roald Dahl and we have Tim Burton. For years he has been the modern purveyor of twisted fairy tales, macabre and innocent, sordid and delightful, blockbuster smashes and straight up flops. His films have become cultural touchstones -- films like Beetle Juice (1988), Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) -- and have cemented his place among the greatest American directors of all time. His next film, a retelling of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice In Wonderland will mark his seventh collaboration with Johnny Depp, forming the most potent cinematic duo since Roman Polanski and 13-year-old girls. Burton will also serve as head of the jury for this year's Cannes Film Festival, May

Johnny Depp Profile
Why Is He Famous?
It's hard to believe it all started with 21 Jump Street. If Hollywood was a long-jump, then Johnny Depp has jumped far beyond the sandpit. Platoon, Donnie Brasco, Pirates, Blow, Sweeney Todd, and now Public Enemies -- Johnny Depp can pretty much do anything. The fact that he's had a champagne bubble bath with Kate Moss and used to enjoy the odd hotel trashing only makes him cooler. We'd love talk to him about his movies over whiskey, and then throw chairs around a Ritz Carlton room with him.

Its twenty-nine stations over 28.8 kilometers (17.9 mi) of mostly elevated track form two lines. LRT Line 1, also called the Yellow Line, opened in 1984 and travels a north–south route. LRT Line 2, the Purple Line, was completed in 2004 and runs east–west.
The LRT is operated by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), a government-owned and controlled corporation under the authority of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC). Along with the Manila Metro Rail Transit System (MRT, also called the Blue Line), and the Philippine National Railways (PNR), the LRT is part of Metro Manila's rail transportation infrastructure known as the Strong Republic Transit System (SRTS)
